Athena at Princeton University’s Prospect Garden

by Harlan, September 12, 2014

This day in July was the day I introduced an Arizona native to New Jersey mosquitoes.

Athena was in town for a visit, so we spent a few hours wandering the campus of Princeton University with a thought of potentially achieving some headshot-type photographs. We found our way to Prospect Garden, where the green and flowers would provide a nice backdrop.

The idea of frolicking in the fountain proved to be too tempting for Athena, and regarding the source of the mosquitoes, the fountain is my first guess. I won’t be sharing any photographs of the damage done to Athena’s legs.
