A few months ago, I had the pleasure of helping Darren create a meaningful birthday gift for his wife. He, his daughter, and I spent some time in Princeton, New Jersey, to create a few father-daughter portraits, several of which he later framed for the gift.
I’ve known Darren since we were children, when we were only a couple of years older than his daughter, Cindi, is now. When I spent time with the two of them for this session, I saw a real strong connection between father and daughter, full of trust, fun, and mutual adoration. I did my best to capture these traits during our session, which we scheduled after lunch at one of Cindi’s favorite restaurants, Cheeburger Cheeburger.
We chose Princeton University as our location. After all, this particular campus could be where Cindi will spend her time studying once she graduates high school.
